Awaken the Muse is a women’s retreat in Tuscany for women ready to reconnect with their creativity, sensuality, and fullest expression.

Set among the rolling hills, olive groves, and timeless beauty of Tuscany, this experience is inspired by the essence of the Renaissance Woman...a woman who gets to be creative, ambitious, embodied, soft, expressive, and fully alive all at once.

Over 6 days, we’ll immerse ourselves in beauty, creativity, and the art of living well through movement, embodiment practices, painting, poetry, creative workshops, sensory rituals, nourishing meals, and meaningful connection.

Expect long dinners under the Italian sky, wine shared slowly, mornings filled with inspiration, charming Tuscan towns, fresh gelato, deep conversations, and space to reconnect with the muse within.

This retreat is about stepping out of survival mode and back into inspiration, pleasure, self-expression, and expansion. It’s a reminder that creativity is not something you have to earn or become “good at”...it’s your natural state.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Coherence retreats is where travel meets transformation.

Our retreats blend intentional workshops and connection with epic experiences all over the world - from hiking ancient sites and swimming under waterfalls, to glamping in the desert or soaking in natural hot springs.

Expect a mix of wellness practices like meditation, movement, and breathwork, alongside exploring wild landscapes, bonding with like-hearted women, dancing, laughing, and fully living.

Each retreat is uniquely curated based on the land, the hosts, and the group energy.

WHATS NOT INCLUDED:

• ✈️ Flights to Italy
  • There are two airports that you can fly into: Florence Airport FLR (50 min drive)  *recommended*, OR Rome Airport FCO (3 hour drive).
• 🚗 Transportation to the retreat center
  
  • You can arrive by:
    • 🚙 Renting a car *recommended* (we will help with coordinating carpooling)
    • 🚕 Take a taxi/Uber from the airport (this option can be more expensive than just renting a car & splitting it)
    • 🚆 Train to one of the nearby stations.
      The nearest is “Monteriggioni - Castellina Scalo” It is a 10 minute drive from our
      property. There are NO taxis at the station, however. If you choose this option, please
      contact us to arrange a transport from the station to the property (cost around €20).
• Extra alcohol, massages etc.

10 THINGS TO KNOW 

1. We highly recommend arriving at least one day early.
   This is an international journey, and flight delays or missed connections happen more often than you’d think. We've had guests lose an entire day in the past, and we really don’t want that for you! Give yourself time to settle in and arrive grounded.
2. Extend Your Stay
   If your schedule allows, we also recommend extending your stay before or after the retreat. Italy has so much beauty to explore beyond Tuscany!
   
3.  Transportation is not included for this retreat.

   Shuttles aren’t common in this region, so you’ll need to hire a driver/taxi, rent a car, or join a carpool (we’ll help coordinate!). Sharing a car is super affordable and gives you the freedom to explore during downtime.

4. Wine is allowed - just mindfully.
   Wine is a beautiful part of Italian culture (especially Tuscany!), and you're welcome to enjoy it if it feels aligned. It’s not included, but bottles can be purchased directly from the property (€20+). We simply ask that you drink mindfully.

5. We’re staying on a working 13th century property & farm.
   Surrounded by olive trees, vineyards, gardens, and lavender fields...this is slow living in the Italian countryside. Most of the food you’ll eat is grown right here, from scratch, with love and intention.

6. Massages are available but paid in cash.
   Treatments can be booked directly at the front office. A 50-minute massage typically costs €120. 

7. No credit cards are accepted on the property. You will need to pay in cash for massages, extra towels (we provide one), wine etc. 

8. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
   We always suggest having a safety net in place in case of delays, cancellations, or unexpected hiccups.

9. Plenty of walking is involved.
   You’ll be exploring charming villages and winding countryside paths. Make sure you feel comfortable walking and moving around a lot - it’s part of the full Italian experience! This may include steep hills and cobble streets. 

10. Every meal is fresh, organic, and vegetarian.
    Inspired by the belief that food is medicine, every dish is homemade using organic fruits, vegetables, legumes, grains, herbs, eggs, and cheeses.

Lexi is a certified Wellness Practitioner, facilitator, and writer with over a decade of experience in guiding individuals toward wholeness through the integration of body, mind, and spirit. Her work focuses on helping people resolve trauma, strengthen their nervous systems, and reclaim their worth. Lexi’s diverse training includes certifications in Vinyasa Yoga, Classical & Contemporary Pilates, Somatic Experiencing, Breathwork, Meditation, and Reiki energy healing. She also leads poetic therapy workshops as a unique tool for healing and transformation. As the creator of THE EMBODYMIND Somatic Wellness app, Lexi offers accessible practices that help users experience the profound connection between the body and mind. Through retreats, workshops, and private sessions, Lexi creates nurturing spaces for personal growth, empowering individuals to step into their fullest potential.

Emma Hofflman - @thepowerwell

Emma Hoffman is a manifestation coach, yoga teacher, visual artist, and founder of The Power Well Coaching. She blends neuroscience, energy work, embodiment, yoga, and subconscious reprogramming to make manifestation practical, actionable, and deeply transformative, helping people turn intention into lived reality and create lives they truly love. A mother who has called Austin home for the past eight years after growing up in the Northeast, Emma’s deepest passion is community building and curating spaces that feel nourishing, honest, and deeply transformational.

Travel Plans

✈️ Flights are not included.

🚐 Transportation to and from our property is not included, but we’ll help coordinate rides, carpools, and transportation options closer to the retreat through a group chat.

Traveling to Italy

To visit Italy in 2027, U.S. citizens are expected to need ETIAS authorization (approx. €7 / $8 USD). This is a mandatory entry form for short stays such as tourism or business.

Please note: ETIAS requirements have shifted in the past, so we recommend checking the most up-to-date entry requirements before booking your travel.

You’ll also need:

• A valid passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity
• Proof of sufficient funds
• A return or onward travel ticket

Arrival | May 23, 2027 

✈️ We recommend flying into Florence Airport (FLR).

If you’re able to, we highly recommend arriving 1–2 days early to buffer against potential flight delays and to give yourself time to rest, adjust to the time zone, and settle into the rhythm of Italy before the retreat begins.

Please arrive to our retreat center on Sunday, May 23 between 4:00–5:00 PM.

Note: Our property is approximately a 1-hour drive from Florence Airport.

✈️ Rome Airport (FCO) is also an option if needed, though it is a much longer journey to the property.

If you’re arriving early or staying later, we’re happy to provide hotel recommendations.

Departure | May 28, 2027 

⏰ We will be out of the property by 10:00 AM on Friday, May 28.

✈️ If flying out on the 28th, we recommend booking a late afternoon or evening flight out of Florence if possible.

Getting to our property

Please note that transportation to and from our retreat is not included, but there are several great options to get there and back:

1. Rent a Car 

Renting a car from Florence Airport is a great option and gives you the most flexibility while in Tuscany. You may also be able to carpool and split costs with another retreat guest, and we’ll help coordinate this closer to the retreat.

2. Book a Private Transfer

You can arrange a private car service through companies such as Welcome Pickups for a direct and seamless transfer to the property.

3. Use Our Local Driver

We work with a trusted local driver who offers reliable and well-priced transfers from Florence to our property.

 • Mercedes Van (up to 5 people): €200 cash or €240 card
• Car (2–3 people): €180 cash or €220 card

Please note that he operates from one central pickup location in Florence, so we’ll help coordinate groups to meet at a shared point.

Once you have your travel details, feel free to send them our way and we’ll happily help organize transportation coordination.

Train Options

You can also fly into Rome and make your way to Tuscany via train or private transfer.

The nearest train stations to us are:

• Monteriggioni – Castellina Scalo (approx. 10 minutes away)
• Siena (approx. 20 minutes away)

From either station, you would need to arrange a short car transfer to the property. If you choose this option, we’re happy to help coordinate the final transfer.
